Who can draw and comment here?

If you've registered on the normal or scribble oekaki, you can use that username to login here as well. Everybody can comment on the pictures drawn here. However, only people who have the "advanced flag" can draw and upload here.

Standards:

I realise that there is a variation in standards here. This goes back to when the standards were quite low at the old oekaki. If somebody looks unadvanced, let them be. Pinkie can decide what pictures to delete. Perhaps the artist is trying out a new style which they may not be perfect at. Or perhaps they were just accepted when the standards were lower.

How do I apply:

  • Firstly, see if your art is up to standards here. Are you capable of drawing like the other artists here?
  • Then, upload you best picture to the internet, such as to Image Shack (no registering required) or to Photobucket. You will be assessed on the picture you provide.
  • Then, log-in here, and fill out the application form.
  • Keep an eye on your mailbox, no matter what the verdict will be, you'll get an answer. If you don't get a reply in one month, re-apply in case you application form got lost.
  • You can re-apply as many times as you wish if you feel you have improved.



    • Admin notices:

    All advanced drawers can bump their own pictures. This is to be used for the sole purpose of putting an bumping finished, old pictures (which have been finished at a later date and is now on at least the 2nd page).

    I'm sure all the advanced users will not abuse this feature. ~ Pinkie

Wow, this is great :D The shape of the face is really nice... and I love the hair. Beautiful~
I can't really critique though since I'm not a realism person. The only thing I really notice is maybe the ear is a bit far back?

This is amazing
The only thing is that the face is a bit wide, the space from the nexk to the chin it a bit large and if you were to shorten that it would really make this even more amazing.

I really like the smudgeeness (I no that's not a word but you know what I mean right?) of this. And I really like that lamppost for some reason... I think it's the pretty glow coming off it.

Twilight Wait, why does the first person to say twilight get shot? :SS If it's something really obvious then I'm sorry, I don't really have a lot of common sense even though I'm quite intelligent (or so my friends say).

Oooh, I like that shading! :3 The facial structure is also very nice~

As for critiques though, her fingers seem to all be about the same length... Her thumb is also a bit too thick :P
There's something off about the nose too, but I don't know how to explain it...
And the rest of her body :O It's misssiiinggg!
Her hair looks a little strange since the strands look more pixely than the rest of the coloring. You could probably try using at least 2px to make it look smoother next time. :3

That's all... It's not a very good critique though, I know. Sorries! DX

...but anyways, I guess if you want to know what's wrong with the body, I can tell you...I mean, this looks like this is supposed to be chibi, but I dunno if you intended it to be that way. D: The head and eyes are really big compared to the body, so that's why I assumed that...the ears are kinda weird too, the one closer to us is too thick, and the one farther away is too short and too far up. I don't really see much wrong with the body, it's the head that makes it look way out of proportion...

I don't know if I'm allowed to crit or not since I'm not accepted on advanced, but I didn't see anything in the rules about it, and since no one else has critted yet, I shall XD;

First off, this is looking awesome so far. I seriously love the shading on the hair and face so far, but especially on the bangs &lt;3333
I found a picture of hand pointing for you, although you'll probably have to slim it down to make it more feminine, and more like your style. xD; Although, I think it might help some: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v243/draiknair502/pointingref.png
Finally, I did a redline for you that included the full size of the head, so you can better see where the proportions would lie.
