Moon Dragon
Objective: Draw a character, fursona, animal, or some kind of creature that is designed to represent the season fall/autumn.
Rules: Must be either your personal character or your favorite animal, with a fall theme (attire, background, colors, etc.)
Prizes:
First: A character designed for the winner with a fall theme, with art drawn traditionally.
Second: One request, traditional, not colored.
Third: One request, oekaki, not colored.
Deadline: December 10th.

Contest Rules
You may only have one contest up at a time.
Only 3 contests in total can be on.
You may extend your contest end date once, and up to no longer than one month. After that, it comes off the board.

The focus on this tryout was anatomy because it was already stated that my shading/backgrounds were up to par in the standards, however they felt my anatomy was a little iffy.

Hey,
quite clearly, this is a picture of dearest Pinkie, a great person and the lovely and dedicated owner of this oekaki
uh, done in SAI.. but I couldn't do a background because I messed up the layers, agh

So, this isn't for the contest, but I guess I could say anyway
This place was my first ever oekaki. Ahh.
I think my favourite PWO moment was probably when we had Pichu's academy, (.. you guys torturing Daiki was hilarious xD) or perhaps the censor war all that time ago but I didn't actually take part in either. I just watched with pleasure.

 I've been thinking about entering this in the newest contest, but I'm not sure I want to. I really don't want to go back and shade this, but I don't want to enter something that's not at my full effort.

Anyway, I had this character for a while...her name is Autumn. She's had a major redesign.

Also, the shapes in the background are suppossed to be leaves, done with watercolor. I suck at backgrounds, so yeah...

And if you're having trouble with the words, they say:

I keep falling...
...but I get up everytime.

Other than the lack of shading and the background, I really like how this came out. It came out better than I expected actually! smiley

 Ok, I'll call this done. Timer will lie by some (shower, a little college work, and arguing with mom).

Decided to draw something to tell you I'm alive! I haven't drawn something here in, I think, two months.

I kinda like ChibiPaint. It's fun to work in. Just a random water dragon. Enjoy (I can't write well with a tablet, odd enough, so sorry for horrible writing). Plain background too, sorry. Couldn't think of much else.

This is my Inuyasha OC Sachi. She's a half human half wolf-yokai. She's in love with Kouga but he's not in love with her. Kouga is in love with another girl named Ayame (An actuall character in the anime who I support Kouga with). She's usually really happy and bubbly but when ever she sees Ayame and Kouga together she gets sad. The words are from the Higurashi no naku koro ni ending "Why or why not" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Y169Ca5sxE&feature=related I changed the lyrics around because I like them better like this. Also, yes, she does have a tail

I hope you're okay with critting? If you're not, sorry, but here are some things to keep in mind next time:
-Maybe make the tears transparent. They look more tear-like that way.
-Her body kinda looks like a thick stick. Maybe give it more shape next time.
-Her neck's a bit long.
-Her ear (and eyes) is a bit high up.
But this isn't a bad picture! Really! There are some things I really like about this, such as the shading on the skin and the fact that you colored your lines. Keep on drawing~

@Mew: Sure fan-art is great. For some reason a lot of people draw Sachi fan-art for me and most of the fan-art I get is Sachi fan-art

The only crit that I have would be that the tears should be coming out of the other side of the eye. C: Iskola pretty much covered the rest. Oh, and may I suggest a more dynamic background and pose next time? It makes pictures look more interesting.
