I think the main problem here is that the blood looks more like ketchup D:
It needs to be darker and more translucent, I mean, blood is pretty watery at the best of times..either that, or my body is really weird :S
imo, there's not enough blood :> it just looks like someone's gone all 'splat' with a paintbrush, and you know it should be the blood from several popped heads :P

I can't believe the shading on this... I must admit I'm astonished by the effort you've placed into this. The background is outstanding, even if there's not a lot there, it gives you that feeling that it's a dark night with the ground and the sky the same colour.
I think it deserves what I have given.

Nice work, especially with the shading and the background. The eye looks great, too. :3 The only problem I really have with it is the mountain range in the background - I feel as though the shading is too bold compared to the softness of the rest of the picture. Overall, a job very well done!

Okay I'll try critting (Ill try not be harsh. The head does seem kinda big or it may be the size of the body is too small. I think maybe add some darker or more defined shading. I also see a few anatomy errors.

Yes, nighttime pictures like this one should always have dark shading. Also, I'd try putting more effort into the bg next time, but that can't be considered a crit if you did it that way on purpose. xD;

Oh this is so awesome. I love the idea :3 I dont really see anything wrong..except the hand(her left) looks a little small (maybe?) and something about her foot(on right leg) I'm not quite sure. It might just be me, but her legs seem kinda long for her body as well. (Was that harsh at all?) Im not that good at my humans..yet.

This is way better than what I could do (might not be saying much but still >>) I love that couch (it looks very modern :3) That outfit is adorable <3 and I love her hair. I love the shading on everything, especially the couch and flooring/wall. Such a cute expression. Nice job <33

That looks fantassstic Pai. :D Although... I have a couple crits. I agree with Eevee_lover, her left hand seems a little small. Her left leg down by her ankle just seems a little... awkward too. It looks fine, but if you were tying your shoe/sandal/whatever your foot would be mostly on the ground rather than its side... and what I just said was really unclear. |D
Overall, it's really nice. I like the shading, especially on the couch and her hair. I'd also love to have that outfit. I actually don't think the arms are too long, because there's always a range and never a "perfect" length for arms. People have different body builds, like I have abnormally small hands but somewhat long arms. There is a point where they can be too long/short but you can usually have a lot of freedom. [/rambling]

On past oekakis, I've always been known for drawing cute, fluffy animals. Whenever a VNO member saw a cute, fluffy thing, they'd be like, "OMG! Mew Cookie drew something!"

BG - finished! This is the final version.~
I was worried a BG would clutter up the picture, but it actually added a lot... remind me not to leave my subjects hanging in white voids anymore. xD

I ran the word "kaito" through a binary translator to get the strands of 1's and 0's you see on the picture. It's quite fun to code pictures as such.~

To SKK: The answer to your question (about photoshop and such) is still on the other picture, which I put in WIP mode.
