I think I might actually be losing Noc after 8 months with him. That's the longest relationship I've ever had... and again, it's failing because of me, just like the exes I had- even the one that emotionally abused me and ruined my outlook on love for a long while, until I met Noc and he fixed me up. And it IS my fault, because I always say how much I hate how I'm treated or how miserable my life is when really, it could be a lot worse... Noc feels "empty." Like he's loving me out of pity, like the love is artificial. He did say "I never said I wanted to end this." But when I said "We'll get through this, I promise" he replied "I'm not sure how to react... but I'll have faith." Obviously he's dying on me. I don't know what to do. How the heck do you revoke a feeling of pity? This week was bad enough... this was just like a punch to the face to end everything this week. If I lose Noc, I'll never love again, because he's the only true love I've ever HAD so far. I... don't know. I've had exes, previous relationships, but this one was different... Love is so complicated, so wonderful but horrible at the same time. I wish there was something I could do. I need to figure out how to "fix" myself and Noc... He told me "Promise me something... If things don't work out the way you think, don't torture yourself by shackling yourself to me." I agreed to the promise, because I know "if you love someone you'll let them go" thing... But I'm not going to give up easily at all. My mom says "He's 3,000 miles away. You're in Florida, he's in California. It's not going to work. He's trying to break up with you. Besides, that's just how you are, you're always gloomy." Thanks, Mom. I knew I could count on you~ I have SEEN a relationship EXACTLY like that work. My friend Alex moved from California to get with my friend Angel and now they're in the greatest relationship I've ever seen. They LIVE together. I wish I could have someone love me like that, but Noc is in college and all this other junk... Argh. I'm just gonna go with the flow. If he leaves me, he leaves me. The show must go on. You know what's ironic? He wanted to get with me. And now I'm the one throwing up sadness from this roller coaster ride of emotions. Love is like a roller coaster: when it's over, you puke. ooh...apparently there's a glitch in FF 3.6, if you make a custom persona, your add-ons/extensions/plug-ins/themes/etc. dialogue box/window breaks and won't display anything. sldhf

I felt like that and changed up my art a few years ago, but you can still see the animu influence~ ^-^;

You should switch to a totally different style. go to the extreme. Either total realism, or super cartoony.
Then once you have a feel, start to fuse the style with your current style.

I think your anime style is awesome D: but if you feel the need to change it, okay. Mold you're current style into the one you want, don't totally relearn it.

So, two months ago my job informed me that I had to take this 'pet store pro' test and I would get paid for it and I get a new name tag that says 'lul I r pet pro'. what they didnt tell me was that, even if I didnt have internet at the time I was still held accountable for it. I got internet about half way through, and did 3 of the ten tests which were boring as all get-out and took about an hour each to do. THEN TODAYYY I get a call because I had asked for an extension due to circumstance, but APPARENTLY I would get wrote up for it. "Oh, and btw the date they gave you is wrong, too. You have to finish them all today instead of by saturday. lul bai!" SO I STARTED AT MAYBE, NOON and it is 6:30 now and I am FINALLY DONE DDDD< Take that, communists!!! UGH over 350 questions in one day, and it didnt make it any easier that there was s**t lyk this: "True or False? Hunting dogs are separeted into two groups, those that hunt by sight and those that hunt by sound." Pandah: Hmm. Well, I have the study guide RIGHT HERE and it says they are separated by Sight and SMELL, so, therefore, this is FALSE. "WRONG LUL U LOZE IT WAS TRUE!!!" "Which of these fish listed below should be kept in a group of five or more to keep them from being aggressive?" Pandah: OH, That is one of my favorite fish! "ACTUALLY, Instead of picking the answer you wanted, since you dont have a mouse, when you tried to scroll down the page it changed ur answer instead. lol. so much for that 100% score, huh?" And the point of tests isn't really to teach you anything; it's to find out how much you know. Of course, it doesn't help when the computer screws with your answers.

it 'technically' was, because if I had done it when I first started like they were supposed to make me do, I would have read through all of the study guide and had been doing the tests solely by the guide and not experience.

I found out today from the doctor... I have Insomnia. Unable to sleep because of constent stress from school, and from friends and family... Paranoia. *sigh* I guess I can now raise my hand and be part of the many who also have Insomnia. ;u;

I've never had insomnia...though now that I've said that I probably will.

Giving it a name doesn't help it (the same goes for many other mind-related issues!). You just have trouble getting to sleep~ If you tell yourself you have insomnia, then when you're lying in bed, you'll be telling yourself that. And you'll get into a downward spiral where your negative thoughts influence your behaviour and then the resulting behaviour just strengthens your negative thoughts.

You can try meditating while you're lying in bed, focusing on counting or repeating a soft word in your head, gently redirecting yourself if you get off-topic. Or you can try getting into a "going to sleep" routine - brushing your teeth, getting a drink, taking a bath, putting on pajamas. Having a routine tells your body that it's time to go to bed. Minimizing the amount of light you're exposed to before bed will help too. Your sleep rhythms are actually affected by the levels of light throughout the day through some sort of receptor in your eyes. Lots of light from tvs and computer monitors can delay the sleep rhythm.
Also, when you go to sleep, your body cools down, so taking a warm/hot bath right before bed will mimic the cooling process, which can help you get to sleep~
There's the fabled warm milk...though I've always found that idea rather nasty. :'D I like my beverages on the verge of freezing. *shot*

when I stay in my dorm room I get lonely and depressed and unproductive. so I've been staying at home and commuting for several weeks... but tomorrow night I have to stay there for a late night event to fulfill my art200 requirement... sigh. I hope next year the two suitemates that are moving out will be replaced with ones that will be more willing to interact with me...or maybe I'll have more initiative by then to get out there on my own.

Why not just commute next year? That's what I'll be doing since my roommate is really messy and I hate it. Plus you save like $8000.

I already signed up for housing a while ago. I really have no idea what my schedule could turn out to be so...I might not be able to commute at all. Hopefully I'll be able to build a compatible schedule...if I can, I'll probably commute every other week.
