Remember those times in Viridian forest where you had a Kakuna or a Metapod and your starter died and you were fighting a Bug trainer and all you had was harden and you had to wait til your PP ran out so you could use struggle and kill the other Metapod/Kakuna?

owww D| we have these sliding doors behind the counter at work, and on some of them the only way to pry them open is by putting your finger in this little hole where a grip used to be and pry it open, but every time you do it the door slides open TOO fast and I have smashed my finger countless times D|

hnngh though i do love my real life friends dearly, one of them really ticks me off sometimes.
Mostly when I'm drawing. I really like to define facial shape. But sometimes, she will jump in when I'm drawing and be like 'That's not how you draw an anime face!!' and will draw over my picture giving it a blocky face. I don't like blocky faces.
Or when I'm drawing eyes. I try not to make them too large, but she just has to jump in and say 'thats not anime!' and proceed to give my picture GIANT DESU EYES
Same for noses. I draw them large, she erases them and puts a little dot. A DOT. WHAT KIND OF NOSE IS THAT.

So I'm scared to draw around her e__e she just doesn't understand all anime doesn't look like the same kawaii girls with the shiny and big eyes.

I think the anatomy and stuff is close enough, but I would work on adding more different and deeper shades. If you look at the photo the dog has a white muzzle, but on yours it looks like it is just a lighter shade. Try adding in some streaks of white to bring out that color. On the neck I think it would also look better if you broadened your range. Try adding some deep black parts like in the photo or at least a really dark shade of grey.

are you doing it in shipainter? just put in on a separate layer just in case.

But hon, you can NEVER over shade xDDD at least, that is what art teachers tell you and it is mostly true.

well most art students are afraid to shade at all, so the fact that you have been told you overshade is a good thing xDD You probably didn't even overshade, you just used too dark of a color or something. I always say the more transitions you have (the more different colors you use inbetween the lightest and the darkest color) the better.

practice, really xDD Try taking a lamp and shining on small objects like a ball or a statue or a doll you like. See how the light reflects depending on the distance, type of light, etc. I think your photo has good lighting, though, so try taking a look at it as well and try to emulate it.

lol sometimes they do that. if you are offering them a lot he might just not want one. when we had chins at the store they would normally only take one every 2 weeks to a month depending on the animal.

lol the sex get mixed up all the time on small animals xD especially when they are young it is just hard to tell, so never let anyone convince you that they know 100 percent what it is. (unless it had babies or obvious genitals)

I look back on things and gosh how I can't wait to leave home, and leave all the arguments that I have with my mum behind. I keep crying and am in tears a lot of the time....and then she apologises and expects things to be back to normal...but my heart still aches. I feel it is best to avoid speaking at all.

I'm jealous of all the people who have cousins or siblings to talk to. Or mothers or fathers who they consider to be their best friends. I long for stable relationships. With no arguments, or blaming each other. A decent relationship where I can be honest, and feel listened to. Someone who understand me.

Oh well...fingers crossed for the future.
